• Ensure on-going maintenance of the databases including database performance, tuning, and capacity planning
• Administering backup-recovery, database replication, schemas, user and security procedures
• Establish, review and maintain physical database parameters and provide for cross training of application personnel
• Selects and enters codes of utility program to monitor database performance such as distribution of records and amount of available memory
• Organise the creation and administration of developer accounts and access privileges for databases
• Databases monitoring and management via third party tools and other associated tools configuration
• Provide guidance in application and other databases tuning (SQL, etc…)
• Support IT Infrastructure staff, developers, and other systems analysts in developing efficient application designs and provide the necessary support
• Assists developers and other systems analysts to make changes to database management systems
• Provide assistance and guidance on all database inquires, train users, and provide databases solutions and answers
• Prepares and maintains documentation, technical reports, and provides follow up status on related activities and tasks assigned
• Keep IT Infrastructure staff and management up to date on all matters relating to database creation, performance tuning and capacity planning with issues of significance being flagged
• Performs other relevant duties as assigned

Responsibilities will include developing accounting policies and procedures in line with IFRS to produce financial statements and develop monthly reporting. You will work closely with the Director of Finance and CFO, and be a key figure for the organisation.
If you are a UAE National with proven extensive experience of producing financial statements and monthly reporting then we want to hear from you.
