    Job Description:

    The Intermediate Graphic Designer will produce quality marketing and
    Communications materials to corporate design specifications.

    Responsibilities:

    – In consultation with Senior Management and Senior Designer, produce print materials, including newsletters, brochures, proposals, invitations, conference and seminar materials and other print and presentation materials as required.
    – Support our identity, brand message, organizational image and objectives.
    – Use established design standards and guidelines.
    – Prepare final files for hand-off to printers and other suppliers.
    – Offer customer service and client support.
    – Develop Standards for company logo, brochures, documents, marketing material and multi-media, sustain and update those standards.
    – Ensure that internal and external clients needs are met in “look & feel” despite personal design tastes. Must be able to work in many different designs styles (corporate, edgy, animated, etc.)
    – Participate in brainstorming and creative meetings along with other team members as well as clients as required.
    – Maintain online standards as Management has provided.
    – Work closely with Management to plan the layout and design of large projects.
    – Work closely with the technology team to ensure developed functionality is in full working order.

    Skills: – Creative and proven production design ability within branding and corporate design.
    – At least 4 years of corporate and / or advertising agency experience; publications experience an asset or Graduate of a recognized college or university design program.
    – Knowledge of print production issues; able to work files up to prepress.
    – Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    – Strong organizational ability, Content Management.
    – Excellent communication skills.
    – Strong interpersonal / customer service oriented ability.
    – Senior expertise in all Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium and Intermediate knowledge of Flash 8 Pro & Fireworks and other design applications.
    – Intermediate knowledge of Keynote and MS Office applications.
    – Computer Savvy with knowledge of Task Managers or Project Management Tools.
