The new 2006 Saleen Mustang is based off of the same engine and drivetrain as the 2005, but this supercharged, 3-valve V8 is pushed up to 465hp<\/u><\/b><\/font>. Saleen said this increase of 35hp over the supercharged 2005 model is somewhat matched by his increase of 5hp over the 2005 N\/A model, a SOHC pushed from 330hp to 335hp. The supercharged model is said to be stickered at just over $51,000 and the N\/A model will be at just over $42,000. Along with the Racecraft Suspension, Saleen includes a convertible model at nearly $56,000 and the all-new “cool tops” line. The Saleen cool tops cars include a Saleen Speedster with a tonneau cover and sport bar (much like sn95 models), and a Saleen Scenic Roof is avaliable too, with a panaramic, moonroof extending the entire roof of the car, from windshield to windshield. The Scenic Roof line is said to be debuted in January 2006 as a 2006 model.<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n
