\nFIELD OF THE INVENTION<\/font>

The present invention relates generally to an apparatus for correcting bad posture.<\/font>
More particularly, the present invention is an apparatus which wraps around the user for<\/font>
reducing poor posture of the spine and the kyphosis.<\/font>

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION<\/font>
Bad posture is a common problem for many people of all ages, young and old.<\/font>
Bad posture is typically related to poor alignment of the spine, which is caused by<\/font>
15 abnormal stresses placed on the spine. It is also known that bad posture can be caused by<\/font>
genetic inheritance. Kyphosis is a type of back condition in which a curvature in the<\/font>
upper spine is caused by degenerative diseases, developmental conditions, osteoporosis,<\/font>
or a combination of these. Kyphosis and other types of bad posturing conditions can lead<\/font>
to hunchback, which can cause problems in breathing and more severely in discomfort or<\/font>
20 even death. It is therefore an object of the present invention to introduce a brace for the<\/font>
upper body for reducing and\/or eliminating bad posture. It is a further object of the<\/font>
present invention to apply an inward force to the chest and back, causing an upright<\/font>
posture. It is another object of the present invention to provide an adjustable means for<\/font>
the brace to conform to the user\u2019s body size and shape.<\/font>

DETAIL DESCRIPTIONS OF THE INVENTION<\/font>
20 The present invention accomplishes reducing bad posture of people and reducing<\/font>
the kyphosis risk. In my posture brace it contains 8 things.<\/font>
1) 2 Durable neoprene (Armband) one for left hand and one for left hand (The<\/font>
armband Neoprene has holes to fit all sizes and be minimized and maximized<\/font>
2) 2 Elastic Tension Band (one for back and one for front (chest)<\/font>
25 3) 1 Reducer (to minimize and maximize the length of the elastic tension band)<\/font>
4) Polymax Silicone rubber sponge sheet<\/font>
5) Cotton Fabric Textile (to cover the Polymax Silicone rubber sponge sheet )<\/font>
6) 4 keeper for the back(1 in left back armband,1 in front left armband,1 in right<\/font>
back)<\/font>

7) 4 Keepers holder(1 in left back armband,1 in front left armband,1 in right back<\/font>
armband,1 in right front armband).Note that the left front keeper holder and right front<\/font>
keeper holder connect the tension band together in front and vice versa.<\/font>
The design is like the letter O in which the person should stick his\/her head inside<\/font>
5 the hole and ensuring that the Polymax Silicone rubber sponge sheet (which is covered<\/font>
by cotton) is faced to the front within their chest and the other tension band facing their<\/font>
back. After that, he\/she should focus on the front side and not back. He\/She should put<\/font>
their hand inside the hole that is created from the front side both left and right hands.<\/font>
They will then see that tension belt is installed tight among their chest. This indeed will<\/font>
10 push the chest inside and push the back inside causing an opposite equal reaction<\/font>
(Newton\u2019s law).<\/font>
Relationship of the components: Each of The Durable neoprene (Armband) is<\/font>
connected with the keeper and which the keeper is connected with the so called keeper<\/font>
holder which indeed connects the left side and right side (either front or back). And the<\/font>
15 reducer is connected within the back tension pad for reducing size and maximizing it.<\/font>
And within the front side there is the Polymax Silicone rubber sponge sheet (covered<\/font>
with cotton fabric) which is connected with the elastic tension band.<\/font>\n<\/div>\n
